Beauty is defined as the quality present in a thing or person that gives intense pleasure or deep satisfaction to the mind, whether arising from sensory manifestations (as shape, color, sound, etc.), a meaningful design or pattern, or something else (as a personality in which high spiritual qualities are manifest). It’s true that society today places a huge emphasis on external beauty. However, the determination as to what is beautiful is completely subjective and is “in the eye of the beholder”. Inner beauty that starts with a kind heart and a life filled with gratitude can and will shine through in any crowd. We are each entitled to define beauty for ourselves and we owe it to ourselves to do the good things for our minds and bodies that will allow us to look AND FEEL our best.
The things we put in and on our bodies make a difference and thankfully there is a lot more attention paid to these things today.
