”We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” - Winston Churchill

Since SIBU's early beginnings, giving back has played a major role in what our company stands for.

This holiday we're teaming up with our long-time partner, No Poor Among Us (NPAU) to bring a very Merry Christmas and happy holiday to Africa.

No Poor Among Us has dedicated their efforts to provide a better life for those in in need in Mozambique through:

  • Improved Technology
  • Business Education
  • Trade Skills Training
  • Self-Employment Training

Some of this year's previous accomlishmensts include:

  1. Vocational Courses - This year they were able to train 75 women between the cooking and sewing courses and have also introduced a new entrepreneurship classer that has helped the women learn what they need to do to start their businesses.

  2. Girls Program - Created to help young girls excel in school who are struggling financially. With the graduating girls who moved on, we will have 20 slots to fill in the girls education program next year.

  3. Mahubo School/Women's Center - Construction on five new classrooms is nearing completion. These classrooms will give an additional 600 students from the community an opportunity to study each year.

The Christmast Project & How You Can Make Difference...

Christmas is the most celebrated holiday in Mozambique and families that have jobs receive a 13th salary during December so that they can have enough money to celebrate.

It is an exciting time for many, but devastating for others.

There are many families this time of year that have very little to eat and have no way of buying a present for their kids.

This year we want to raise money to buy these families a big bag of rice, beans, oil, chickens and a small present for each of the family members.

Our goal will be to give Christmas to at least 100 families this year, but we have the capacity to do it for as many as we can raise money for, deliverying gifts on Christmas Day and on the days leading up.

This holiday season we ask you for your generosity in helping No Poor Among Us (NPAU) provide food and a special holiday cheer to families in need..
